Reporting

Reports you can use—not just file.

See the numbers, understand the exceptions and know which decisions need attention.

In short

What this means

Rybair Reporting turns in-scope bookkeeping into a reporting pack built around the way you operate. It can include monthly statements, property or department views, owner statements and commentary, with the reporting basis and unresolved items clearly identified.

Start with the decision, then choose the report

A property operator may need owner and property views; a practice may need cost and receivable trends; a school may need program and budget reporting. We agree the audience, questions and frequency before designing the pack.

A useful monthly reporting pack

The final selection depends on your systems and engagement.

  • Income statement and balance sheet for the agreed period and entity
  • Reconciliation status and material unresolved items
  • Payable, receivable and expected cash commitments where scoped
  • Property, entity, department or program breakdowns as appropriate
  • Budget-versus-actual comparison when an approved budget exists
  • Short commentary on material movements, assumptions and next actions

Owner statements with an explanation behind the total

Where included, owner reporting separates the reporting period, receipts, fees, expenses, distributions and retained balances. The presentation follows the underlying agreement and approved accounting policy. A matching payout is not a substitute for an explained statement.

Keep actuals, estimates and pending items distinct

A received bank payment, an accrued item and an expected settlement are not interchangeable. We label the status and basis of the information, rather than letting estimates look like verified cash.

No dashboard theatre

The right answer may be a well-designed monthly pack rather than another app. Dashboards and automated feeds are separately assessed against the data available. We do not call a mockup a live reporting product.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Can you report separately by property or department?

We can assess the existing coding and reporting structure and define the views your business needs. Historical gaps may require cleanup before a reliable comparison is possible.

Can the reports include budgets and forecasts?

Budget comparisons require an agreed budget and consistent classifications. Forecasting is a separately defined service with assumptions clearly identified; it is not automatically included in every reporting pack.

Are these audited or reviewed financial statements?

No assurance engagement is included in these bookkeeping reports. Audit, review and other specialist reporting requirements should be discussed with an appropriately qualified professional.

Service scope, access, responsibilities and delivery dates are agreed in writing. Tax, payroll and jurisdiction-sensitive work is assessed before engagement; assurance and legal services are not included.

Talk through the reports your decisions need.

A short consultation is enough to understand your systems, your deadlines and where the friction is. No obligation, no pressure.
