Education
Financial clarity for education organizations.
Connect tuition, costs, programs and reporting in a clearer monthly workflow.
In short
What this means
Rybair helps private schools, training providers and other education organizations establish a clear bookkeeping and reporting workflow. We scope tuition and receivable records, costs, payroll coordination and program reporting around the organization’s structure and policies.
Separate billing, collection and reporting
A tuition invoice, advance receipt, refund and earned revenue can represent different events. We organize the schedules so the applicable accounting policy can be applied consistently, rather than assuming every bank receipt belongs in the current period’s income.
What an education engagement can cover
The pack is built around the people who need to use it.
- Bank, card and payment-processor reconciliations
- Tuition billing, collection and receivable schedules where scoped
- Supplier records and documented approval workflows
- Payroll records and coordination with your payroll provider
- Department, program or site reporting
- Budget-versus-actual reporting and year-end supporting schedules
Match reporting to the actual structure
A private business, nonprofit and registered charity do not have identical requirements. Funding restrictions, grants and board reporting are included only where relevant and supported by the organization’s agreements and professional advice.
Make decisions easier without gathering unnecessary data
Managers need to understand costs, collections and commitments. That does not mean student files should flow through an enquiry form. We agree the minimum financial records and appropriate secure access before work begins.
Review existing tuition, accounting and payroll systems
We can assess payment records from Stripe, PayPal, Square or Moneris against accounting records in QuickBooks, Xero or Sage. Where scoped, we can also review payroll records from Wagepoint, Payworks, QuickBooks Payroll, ADP, Dayforce or Humi. Examples describe systems to assess, not live integrations; student records remain outside the initial enquiry.
Questions
Frequently asked questions
Can you track tuition received in advance?
We can assess an appropriate schedule separating billing, receipts, refunds and the period to which they relate. Your applicable accounting policy and agreements govern the final treatment.
Can you support board or budget reporting?
We can scope the reporting pack around the relevant audience, approved budget and available records. Specialist statutory or assurance reporting is a separate requirement.
Do you work only with schools?
The focus also includes training providers, tutoring businesses and other education organizations where the proposed scope fits. We assess each engagement rather than assume one school model applies to all.
Can our tuition and accounting systems stay in place?
We review available billing, settlement and accounting extracts first. The workflow depends on usable records and agreed access; a live connection is not assumed.
Service scope, access, responsibilities and delivery dates are agreed in writing. Tax, payroll and jurisdiction-sensitive work is assessed before engagement; assurance and legal services are not included.
